⚡️UPDATE - Civilian death toll rises to 29 in Tumet town massacre by regime forces in Metemma Woreda.

📍West Gonder Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia

⭕️ As of February 13th, the confirmed civilian death toll in Tumet town has risen to 29.

⭕️ The majority of victims were daily laborers from across the Gonder sub-region and small business operators in the town.

⭕️ Of the victims, 17 were given a mass burial by residents, while regime forces initially prevented community members from retrieving and burying six bodies, leaving them exposed until evening.

⚡️⚔️UPDATE - Fano fighters seize Shindi town for hours after fierce clashes with regime forces in Wemberima Woreda.

📍West Gojjam Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia

🔵 On February 7th, regime forces mobilized from Shindi town toward the Wegedad area, aiming to neutralize Fano fighters. However, Fano fighters, forewarned of the movement, launched a sudden attack before the regime could reach its target.

🔵 A heavy exchange of fire ensued, causing casualties on both sides. Simultaneously, Fano fighters infiltrated Shindi town and launched an assault on regime forces stationed there.

🔵 The Fano held control of Shindi town for several hours before strategically withdrawing as regime reinforcements arrived.
