@borkdude@masadfrost@thepericulum I think you would need to keep most of the core library functions, but make it work on js data structures. I guess a bit like the applied science interop lib. You do (assoc {} :a 1) and it returns the js obj {:a 1} etc. haven’t really thought this through so maybe quite hard..
@borkdude@masadfrost@thepericulum For me a big potential usecase for cherry is small components that live in a mostly js native codebase, and therefore using native js data structures would make interop relatively painless and more performant. You can still stay ~functional by returning copies of things
@32a852@juxtpro I have recorded them and have drafts here https://t.co/oKQySaZXMU. We’re now using this in production for all our hiring processes and site is working very nicely there so I should definitely do another update and maybe a blog, just have to find the time…
@nikitonsky This sounds very interesting! Startup time and especially memory usage would be important to me. People (rightfully) complain about electron using up hundreds of MBs of RAM, but clojure JVM processes often use much more than that… so I think graal will be important
How to Make a Native Mobile App in Clojure in 2 Weeks
(You'll never guess what happened on Day 2!)

Our very own @armincerf builds a complete cross-platform meditation/yoga/chores/etc app in ClojureScript and describes his journey.
@fogus@borkdude @ClojureDeref Don’t suppose you can remove my mobile app blog post 😅 it’s still an early work in progress and only public so people can review, it will go on the JUXT blog when done
@dcreemer What do you mean? What better way to improve an employees mental health than giving them a windowless box in the middle of the warehouse that may or may not be largely contributing to said issues? I’d certainly rather that than a holiday or a fair salary
@JohannaAntone10 “This PR adds 76 features across OVER 9000 lines of code. You’ll never guess which line will anger you the most!!! (POSSIBLE BUGS!! (READ TIL THE END!!!!))”
#Crux 1.10.0 is out!
- SQL queries (compiled to Datalog via @ApacheCalcite)
- EQL (a declarative projection syntax for pulling out extra data)
- Speculative transactions (e.g. run 'what-if' queries)
- String IDs

@AdamFeldman@juxtpro Hmm can’t reproduce this end on Chrome. Does it happen when you type in https://t.co/yhv93qZKCm manually or only when you follow the twitter link? Possible it’s related to DNS records not fully propagating yet as we switched over recently
Actually amazed by how awesome @WhimsicalPowers is. Does a really great job at taking the fairly complex idea of drawing flow charts/mind maps/wireframes and creating a totally intuitive and simple UI. Nice work! https://t.co/ImSygU0jOl
