@ChapterPal is there a way to adjust the frequency of the quizzes that pop up? Having the ability to increase it or decrease it, depending on the difficulty of the topic would be nice.
I personally only know the basics of UX, so take my opinions with a grain of salt. I agree that selecting an entire section would be a hassle, so I like your alternative idea.
I would imagine that the longer the selection in the chat input panel, perhaps it should create more questions, proportional to the length in some way.
I think paragraphs are a natural unit of idea in writing. After after reading a paragraph, I usually pause to make sure I understand what was expressed, and how it fits in larger perspective with the previous paragraphs, before moving on.
The ability to select when to generate the quiz, like being able to use other contextualizing features you provide, I think aligns with your approach to agency and self-pacing.
@ChapterPal My initial thought would be a button to the side of each new revealed section to generate a quiz for that section. Or, alternatively, you already have a context menu that appears after highlighting text, perhaps it can be added there.
@ChapterPal Sent the book. Unfortunately didn't save the log. The error message, IIRC, was "chapterpal_process failed". If it happens again, I'll be sure to send it. I can try and upload another book I'm reading to without premium OCR to test.
