This makes it viewable on a crt monitor but goes from 240P to 480p. If you are thinking of buying a 19 monitor, the two options are not incompatible

@AndreaBogazzi @antoniovil @RetroRGB The binary multiplies the vertical frequency x2 while maintaining the resolution so that the horizontal frequency is greater than 30khz. This allows 240p resolutions with scanlines to be viewed natively on a crt monitor that accepts 120hz refresh.
