Reporter on Bond Market: The yields have come back up since then. Have you talked to Bessent about another type of intervention.?
Trump: The ultimate intervention is our military. And if we have to use that, we will.

I’m no data center hater but even discounting debunked water claims, it’s not surprising people are mad about a massive infrastructure buildout for an industry that boasts it will put many millions out of work while driving up prices of all construction inputs
I have never seen a psy-op more effective than the data center stuff. Absolutely wild how bipartisan the data center hate is for such an incredibly benign industry.
The same folks who'd be wildly enthusiastic over a new steel mill are irate at the idea of a data center.
@BenjaminFogel There’s a whole genre of literature and film where an English or German person loses their mind in Italy (room with a view, death in Venice, etc)
🇩🇪‼️🚨 GERMAN STATE RIPS OUT A SHOWER BECAUSE IT'S TOO LUXURIOUS!
Germany tries to protect many neighborhoods from becoming fancy luxury areas.
This manifests in situations like this: a guy who pays €950 rent built a shower for himself with his own money in a rental property.
The state declared it’s too luxurious because now he has a shower and a bathtub. This is apparently too luxurious and would improve the rental property too much, which could lead to the neighborhood becoming too expensive.
So the German state called in contractors to rip it out. And it’s gone.
Yay! Peak EU
This is a normal international airport amenity, and DFW has nonstops to Dubai, Doha and Amman. Most of Texas politics now is resentment at the consequences of moving to the center of the world economy
