I am still saying it, and this is coming from someone who finds physics fascinating: medicine is way beyond anything engineering will ever accomplish.

An aircraft is a mighty feat. We designed it. A space rocket? We designed it. Electromagnetic technology, bridges, computers, all of these are incredible feats, but ultimately things we designed and built from the ground up.

Now think about medicine. Humans are opening up a body they did not design, navigating structures they did not create, knowing what to cut, what not to touch, what connects to what, where something needs to go and what carries it there and then putting the whole thing back together.

That is, and will probably forever remain, mightier to me than anything we have ever achieved as engineers.

Drama ensued at a funeral in Kutui, Ukambani between the family and relatives of the deceased Mr Mutuku and the clergy. The family wanted to continue with testimonies while the priests felt time was not on their side. They demanded to burry the body and leave the family continue with their speeches. This did not go down well with the family who insisted testimonies MUST continue until the deceased friends had spoken. A vicious war of words ensued and things almost turned messy. Ultimately, the family stood their ground and the clergy left. Who do you think in this case was at fault 🤔?
