Finding the words to describe the style we want can be hard. It can be much easier to use an image.
So, we are running some experiments for a feature like this. Let us know what you think!
Sometimes we might not have the words to describe what we want.
What if we could show, not tell?
Here, we are experimenting with using a reference image to style a todo app.
What do you think?
just tried using @booplet_apps to make a mini app for chess coordinates training
im not even good at writing prompts but it basically one-shotted ~90% of this right off the bat 🤯
Google launched Gemini 3.0 Flash two days ago, and we have already added it to @booplet_apps! ⚡️
From our tests, Gemini 3.0 Flash (Speedy) is wayyyy faster and almost as powerful as Gemini 3.0 Pro (Brainy).
Here’s a Mario-like game that it one-shotted 🍄
Made this workout app with @booplet_apps for myself today!
I had a version of this with Claude Artifact but Booplet made the experience better. My app can now track progress and I can easily open it like a normal app
Maybe a personalize workout app is something everyone need👀
I made this little grocery app for my wife and me, and it’s probably our most used app (besides messaging apps)!
It’s like a todo list but nicer to have it not mixed with my todos. It’s like a shared Apple Note but much easier to clear the items.
I’ve been researching the app building space for a while and yeah most videos tell you how you can make $$$ by building apps.
There’s a little corner of people making stuff just for fun, and it’s refreshing. I hope it grows! Bring back the 90s beautiful messiness!
@fromcaz Thanks! My personal favorites:
1. A shared grocery list with my wife because we kept forgetting to buy stuff
2. Othello. My cousin got me into it recently.
But also it’s because the app is just there. Whenever I think of something, I’d see if it can make a suitable app!
It has been about 2 weeks since we have this new pwa beta, and it has been such a joy to make little apps on my phone.
The medium (phone) makes it less stressful and more fun because I'm less pressured to make big, complex apps.
One unintended but interesting consequence of making so many little apps is I think about design a lot more.
“The AI generated a button here but it’s better there”
“Wait it’s missing this functionality”
Iterating actual apps while using them has been surprisingly educational.
@geneloaf Thanks, Gene! Honestly, I don't think Booplet will replace tech consulting firms because they are meant for very different things haha. With Booplet, we want to focus on little apps for individuals and their circles rather than business software.
