Sheikh Prof. Mansur Isa Yelwa (Hafizahullah) said:
"By Allah, the Almighty has already sworn to us in the Qur'an:
'And there is none of you except that he will pass over it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed.' (Qur'an 19:71).
This means that every single one of us will come to it.
The Sheikh said:
"By Allah, every one of us will reach that place. Every soul must pass over Hellfire. Whether you fall into it or safely cross it, no one can claim to have nothing to do with Hell or that they will not pass over it. By Allah, that is impossible."
He continued:
"This is one of the greatest moments in which Allah will demonstrate to His servants that He alone is the Lord of all creation."
Then the Sheikh presented a thought that shakes the heart.
He said:
"Pause and reflect. Even in this worldly life, when a person is overwhelmed by fear, surrounded by darkness, or gripped by panic, they may struggle just to walk.
So what do you think a person's condition will be when they are told to step onto the แนข๐ข๐ซ๐ฬ๐ญโthe bridge stretched over Hellfire? A bridge described as being sharper than a razor or a sword, with the blazing Fire raging beneath it."
The Sheikh continued:
"Imagine standing on top of a very tall building, looking down at the tiny people and cars below. That alone can make the heart tremble.
Now imagine looking down into Hellfire.
Imagine seeing people falling into it before your very eyes.
Imagine seeing others being dragged away in chains.
Imagine hearing their screams and cries.
Imagine seeing some who are just about to make it across, only to be seized and thrown into the Fire."
The Sheikh said:
"You will see some crossing on their feet.
Others will move on their stomachs.
Others will crawl, desperately hoping for salvation."
Meanwhile, the angels appointed to punish will be there.
The Sheikh said:
"You will see them seizing people and casting them into Hell.
A person may be walking safely, then suddenly be grabbed.
Another may be only a few steps from the end of the bridge, yet be pulled back and fall.
Others will be caught by hooks, struggling to free themselves, but unable to escape."
Then the Sheikh said:
"You will witness all of this with your own eyes.
You will hear the cries of the people.
You will watch them falling.
And then you will be told:
'Now cross.'
At that point, the Sheikh exclaimed:
'Lฤ ilฤha illallฤh! My brothers and sisters, we are truly in a serious situation.'
He concluded:
"By Allah, if a person truly reflects upon the แนขirฤแนญ, they will realize that this worldly life and everything it contains is not worth disobeying Allah for.
On that Day, wealth will not save you.
Status will not save you.
Power will not save you.
What will save you is the mercy of Allah and your righteous deeds."
O Allah, our Lord, grant us the ability to cross the แนขirฤแนญ with ease, as swiftly as lightning.
O Allah, protect us from Hellfire and its punishment.
O Allah, make us among Your servants who will safely cross the แนขirฤแนญ and enter Paradise without a severe reckoning.
May Allah make the Day of crossing the แนขirฤแนญ a day of joy for everyone who benefits from or shares this reminder. May He forgive our sins and reunite us with our parents and our righteous scholars in Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

Reciting Surah Mulk before going to sleep will save you from the punishment of grave. Imagine a surah spreading its wings like a flock of birds to save you. Now imagine you share it & one person acted upon this, What on earth could be more preserving than this?

Yesterday the UN commission of inquiry published a report detailing how Israel deliberately targets & kills Palestinian children

I always remember the story Prof Hamza Maishanu told us. An Egyptian Islamic philanthropist came to the Zamfara axis in the 80s, saw the lifestyle of the nomadic tribes and communities of that area, and told his Nigerian colleague, โif you don't educate these people, don't.....โ
He may no longer be hereโฆ but his Qurโan recitation still lives on. ๐ค๐
May Allah forgive him, have mercy on him, and make the Qurโan a light in his grave.
Of all the words ever written about the Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ, some of the most unforgettable were spoken by a woman who met him just once. Her name was Umm Ma'bad. This is the story behind her immortal description.
๐จ๐ฎ๐ฑ I CANโT STAND THIS PROPAGANDA ANYMORE.
Yes, Iโm glad that Israeli hostages have been freed. And just as glad that Palestinian prisoners have been released. But a few things need to be made clear:
FIRST: Itโs absurd that Israelis are called โhostagesโ while Palestinians are labeled โprisoners.โ Thatโs propaganda. Itโs the same thing: human beings whoโve had their freedom taken away, on both sides.
SECOND: The released Israeli hostages appear well-fed, smiling, not a single kilo lost. Clearly treated well under the circumstances. In contrast, the Palestinian prisoners look like theyโve just walked out of a death camp: emaciated, scarred, aged by years of abuse. Tortured. And no one talks about it.
THIRD: Everywhere I read: โHamas killed all the women, only men were released.โ Thatโs simply a lie. A malicious one. The women who were still alive had already been released in earlier exchange deals. But facts donโt matter when itโs time to push the next hate-driven narrative for $7000.
FOURTH: Everyone talks about a handful of Israeli hostages, but no one mentions the tens of thousands of Palestinian hostages abducted by Israel. Many of them children. Imprisoned without charges, without trial.
FIFTH: And no one talks about the tens of thousands of civilians killed in Israelโs genocide.
SIXTH: While the โceasefireโ (itโs just a matter of time until Israel breaks it again) is being celebrated, radical Israeli settlers are still violently stealing land in the West Bank; with full impunity. They break international law daily, and no one seems to care.
SEVENTH: Politicians across the world are shamelessly cucking for Israel, offering blind support while refusing to even mention the crimes committed in Gaza, the ongoing apartheid in the West Bank, or the endless aggression toward neighboring countries.
EIGHTH: The same governments and media that claim to stand for human rights, international law, and โnever againโ are now either silent or fully complicit: funding, arming, and excusing an apartheid regime in real time. When Palestinian lives are dehumanized, erased, and bombed into dust, suddenly all those values vanish
So no, I will not take part in this propaganda. I will not whitewash Israelโs crimes.
And yes, I still stand by my words: A STATE LIKE ISRAEL SHOULD NOT EXIST.
TRIBUTE:
WE WILL ALL BE LESS WITHOUT BUHARI.
Muhammadu Buhari was the rarest of individuals to grace political life anywhere in the world: an incorruptible servant of the people. He was not motivated by pride, or by riches - the accumulation of which repelled him. He was drawn to public service, discipline, and patriotism, and the unity of Nigeria as a one nation and one idea.
In his long service, first in the military he campaigned to keep Nigeria as a single country, and later briefly holding the position of head of state, he fought to tackle rampant corruption. ย
Later, as a converted democrat after the return of elections in 1999 he campaigned relentlessly to liberate Nigeria from becoming what he feared would be an elected, but corrupted, one-party state. Without Buhariโs refusal to back down, the disparate democratic opposition may never have united, and there would be no true multi-party system in Nigeria today.
Once that unity was achieved, Buhari โ who else? โ was chosen as the oppositionโs flagbearer. In 2015 he became the first candidate to win election over an incumbent, for Nigeria the first-time power changed hands peacefully between the victor and vanquished.
His two terms in elected office coincided with worldwide economic challenges, and the threat from terrorism in the Sahel. He tackled both, creating new and welcome welfare programmes, and decisively breaking the power of Boko Haram.
Facing down accusations of favouring the north, he created ranches for northern herders to protect the livelihoods of southern farmers, saving lives and fostering better relations.
A deeply religious man, he was the opposite of partisan โ enlisting a southern pastor as his two-time running-mate and regularly writing about Christianity and its relations with his own Muslim faith.
After assuming office, he struck up a lasting friendship with the Archbishop of Canterbury, with tolerance and modesty as well as religious fervor being attributes they shared.
After retiring from office, he returned to his farm and tended to his cattle, staying scrupulously out of the public eye and away from politics โ always and intentionally refusing to comment. It was more important for this modest man to give a wide berth to his successor than to express any opinion, believing intervention in political affairs by ex-leaders was rarely merited, and more often a sign of a vanity he would never personally countenance.
Muhammadu Buhari led a life full enough for many men. He will be remembered best by his own words: โI belong to everybody and I belong to nobodyโ. He was the best of Nigeria, and we are all less without him.
