@EduGuo A:6 I think that teachers can definitely reach out ELL students and their families to find out more about their culture, experiences, and background. I think that by actively trying to engage and learn about their culture teachers can work to make great connections. #ELONED

@jeffpcarpenter A:4 I think that there are ways to innovate teaching without necessarily needing many resources. You can do lesson plans outside or incorporate movement there are lots of ways to innovate with limited resources

Q3: I think that we need to try to be positive and try to work with these obstacles and not necessarily against them. There are definitely ways to work with these obstacles and find some benefits in things like end of yr. tests. #ElonEd

@coreywillingham A1: innovation can be tricky. As a new admin I find it key to encourage staff to innovate when it will add impact to the differentiation or challenging of students in the classroom. Innovation must be about effectiveness and not a checklist item. #ElonEd

@coreywillingham A:1 I definitely agree with this. I think that reasons to innovate should be in response to student’s needs. If it seems like something can be innovated in a way that would benefit the needs of the majority of students then it should definitely be done.
