In retrospect this was the best smartphone. High productivity, low addiction. No infinite scroll, no engagement hacking, just messaging with your friends and typing emails very fast with that clicky keyboard. Someone should do a new one.
Suppose we want to live in a decentralized world where we can trust one another in social, economic, and personal situations. In that case, we need widespread attestations to help get to the real you. What do you care about? What are your passions? What groups are you a part of?
Why are the Ancient Greeks so important? Why do people talk about them so much?
Well, it has something to do with Socrates, who was put on trial by his fellow citizens and sentenced to death.
The crime? Asking too many questions...
Dear @etherscan,
Please go back to your old UI. It was beautifully simple and easy to read with no distractions. Not one person has ever complained about your UI being bad, so why did you change it? At least let us toggle the old UI like Reddit.
All the best,
Cygaar
While bitcoin and, for that matter, any Blockchain is not Cryptocurrencies, and this has been falsely promoted, as has decentralisation as a concept, the reality is that this case impacts every system.
A prime example of successful collaboration can be seen in the way this group of caterpillars moves together in a formation known as a "rolling swarm", allowing them to travel at a speed at least twice as fast as any individual caterpillar.
So you still don't have a ledger?
This thread will focus on hardware wallets, why people don't use them, why those people are wrong, and what you should do about it.
I'll be focusing on @Ledger, but the same principles can be applied to @Trezor, @gridplus, and others. 1/🧵
@domicoeth Ownership of the root and .eth TLD has NOT been transferred to a contract with restrictions that would prevent these root keyholders from modifying a .eth registration.
@domicoeth According to ENS website, .eth is controlled by 4 of 7 multisig. ENS members hold the multisig keys which means humans do control TLD (.eth), as well as all its subdomains. This is neither decentralized nor autonomous IMO.
