Collaboration across the ecosystem is critical to building the next generation of financial market infrastructure. Thanks to the team at @tradecraftfi and @fairmint for their work making this vision reality on the @CantonNetwork.
Excited that $CNTN has agreed to list its shares on our Tokenized Securities Venue! We're on track to do the world's first trade under the SEC Innovation Exemption, as early as Monday, using @tradecraftfi protocol on @CantonNetwork. Great to be working on this with @fairmint!

We're bringing the first tokenized stocks to the Canton Network. Actually, to any network. Today we're announcing that tokenized $CNTN will be available via TSV LLC on the @tradecraftfi protocol.
Wouldn't have been possible without @fairmint and @CantonStrategic working together with us to find a way to do tokenization the right way. Thank you to the @CantonNetwork and community that has built such an amazing foundation for the future of finance.

You absolutely need something like this if you want to make strong claims about what your application can or (more importantly) cannot do with funds that flow through it. It's not a panacea, but it is an elegant solution to many of the problems of custody.
Conjecture: As strange as it sounds, I think less good writing is being produced now than a few years ago, and I suspect the same is true of code. I don't mean as a percentage of all tokens emitted, I mean in absolute terms.
I feel an odd sense of loss at this: "On one side are texts produced before the arrival of ... LLMs. On the other, everything that has followed—texts that might still be useful, even compelling, but that will always face a lingering suspicion of not being entirely human."
"We have, I believe, crossed a new threshold, and all authored writing—novels, poems, screenplays, newspaper columns, not to mention love letters—will be judged according to which side of that divide it falls on."
Long, but worth it.

Every "subnet" on Canton will soon burn CC and earn rewards.
I kind of regret using the term subnet though - they're all part of one @CantonNetwork, with one economy and one coin. Just like we have one Internet.
CIP draft coming for comment in September. I believe we can roll this out in phases across H1 2027.
@Redd_Spark@akyra_0@YuvalRooz@ShaulKfir@CantonNetwork As an operator (dex) and builder: yes, synchronizer traffic is below what the token economy needs. So far we see asset issuance and custody, but many tx workloads aren't yet routed through the global synchronizer where CC burns. I expect this to change and I'm building for that.
@YuvalRooz@Serifbozok Scam implies deception and there's none of that here. The BME design says emissions front-run demand, mint exceeds burn, until organic traffic grows enough to carry it. This drawdown costs me, too, I get the frustration. But the system working as described is not a scam.
I remember years ago when the entire @obsidian_llc team would fit in one subway car to go to the Haskell meetup at the @digitalasset office. How far we've come since then!
Hats off to the many people who've been working for years to make this happen. This is a huge milestone.
@DanRosiak Thanks for building this and taking the time to explain the thinking behind it. Immediate purchase.
I’m not anti-AI, but I am pro-humanity, and what’s in short supply now that we have LLMs is care, ownership, purpose. “Tokens” are meaningless without humans.
We can produce code faster than ever.
The scarce resource is reasoning: who understands the system, and how they got there.
Formatting is one place you can always choose understanding over noise.
