Susulan krisis yang melanda Rakyat Palestin di Gaza sehingga menghadapi kekurangan bekalan,

Kerajaan Ireland bersetuju untuk mengumumkan bantuan kemanusiaan sebanyak 13 Juta Euro (RM65 Juta) kepada Rakyat Palestin.

Dana itu hampir menggandakan bajet bantuan Ireland kepada agensi Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB) yang menyokong rakyat Palestin.

Pada mulanya ditetapkan pada jumlah 16 juta euro (kira-kira RM80 juta) untuk tahun ini.
