The type of pedestal converts are put on is indicative of our current insecurity as a civilization. There is no doubt that there is something special about reverts compared to those of us born into the religion. But THEY are lucky THEY found the truth. No one in the post-Internet age has faced more humiliation after death than Charlie Kirk from the very moment he died. What’s interesting is that usually some grace is given to such figures after death and I clearly remember Charlie wasn’t even that hated during his life.

I said it then and I’ll say it again. Charlie’s insulting comments about The Messenger of God ﷺ a month before his death changed the trajectory of his legacy. Comments that I can’t even repeat. If not for them he would have just been forgotten. Instead he is immortalized in eternal disgrace till the end of time.

Keep in mind it is mainly non Muslims engaging in his humiliation because this isn’t a Muslim/Non Muslim thing. It is the Divine exacting retribution and making an example of him for treading upon the most sensitive issue in existence.
