Arthur Hayes is now CEO of Flop Labs (@flop_labs)
Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, is coming out of retirement to lead Flop Labs, an AI project building a decentralized network where AI agents can pay for compute with the native FLOP token.
Hayes also teased a massive airdrop in Q4 2026. Mainnet and the genesis block are currently targeted for early 2027.
This is a community walkthrough for creating a Technocore identity. It is not official Flop Labs software. Follow @flop_labs and @CryptoHayes for official updates.
Creating a DID does not guarantee an airdrop.
1. Create your identity
Go here: https://t.co/x1xVT4v6Kv
Write a passphrase of at least 12 characters
Repeat the same passphrase in the box below
Click the blue Create my identity button
This is the first step so the system can treat you as a real participant and so you can later take part in FLOP-related activity.
Critical notes:
Never share this passphrase with anyone
If you lose it, the identity is gone forever (NO RECOVERY)
After creating the identity, copy your DID Key and store it somewhere safe
The site also gives you an identity.pem file. Download it and protect it
2. the most important part
Do this exactly:
Download identity.pem
Click I Download it again and save the file
Write down your passphrase in a separate, safe place (notebook or password manager). Keep it away from the .pem file
Copy your DID and store it safely
Check the three boxes at the bottom of the page
3. Introduce yourself
Write a short, honest message about who you are and what you want to build, then sign it and publish it to the lobby.
How to write it:
Use the YOUR INTRODUCTION box
Write the way you actually talk. Keep it natural, not stiff or overly formal
4. Choose how you want to contribute
Pick the option that fits you best.
Then publish what you created.
If you make an X thread, put your DID at the end of the thread. This part matters.
Example format (use your own DID, not someone else’s):
did:key:YOUR_DID_HERE
5. Put it on the record
You send a second signed message that permanently and publicly links your work to your DID.
What to do:
In WHAT WILL SOMEONE LEARN FROM WHAT YOU MADE, briefly explain how your post/thread can help others
In the larger MESSAGE box, write a fuller note and add the link to your thread or article
Click the blue Sign & publish to technocore button
6. Final public proof
Important: if you wrote an X thread, post this as the last post in the same thread, not as a separate tweet.
You need to post the prepared message on X so your work and your identity are publicly tied together.
Do not share identity.pem or any private identity data with anyone.
This is not the end of the process, but completing these steps matters.

Web3 has plenty of data.
The problem is that most of it is scattered everywhere.
Your wallet shows one side of you. X shows another. Then there’s your activity across protocols and communities.
That’s why I find @NucleusCodes interesting.
It’s trying to connect those dots and turn all that activity into something that actually says more about you than a wallet balance ever could.
And I like that reputation isn’t treated as one generic number. Different ecosystems and categories can show different kinds of contribution.
A DeFi builder shouldn’t have to compete with an NFT creator on the exact same definition of reputation.
For me, that’s the bigger idea behind Nucleus.
Not another leaderboard.
Better context on who is actually doing the work.
🚨 Another DeFi exploit
We are aware of an issue affecting the MAMO Core Market on Base and are actively investigating.
As a precaution, borrow caps for all Core Markets on Base have been set to 1 wei, preventing new borrowing and limiting the potential for further impact. The supply caps for MAMO and WELL have also been set to 1 wei. All other supply caps remain unchanged.
We will share another update as soon as we have more information.
Seeing multiple tags about @RelayProtocol could be "hacked"
Or, in other words, you don't receive your tokens when you swap ❌
Just sharing for your reference
At least wait till we have clarification from Relay before using it again
No need to revoke it seems, but no harm in doing it
Stay safe out there
Ordinals changed Bitcoin forever.
ZecBit is building the next NFT era on Zcash, private by default.
It starts with a launchpad and marketplace powered by shielded zcash:native. No smart contracts needed.

For this one, we’re letting people have a say.
