If you’re diagnosed with a Glioblastoma there are no drug trials, no mandatory training for Student Oncologist, no requirement for a specialist Medical Oncologist on Multi Disciplinary Teams and no improvement in treatment and outcomes in 40 years. In short, no hope.

Really enjoyed this book. Nursing and academia are not necessarily bullshit jobs, but they have bullshit elements (academia has them in abundance). This is a call to freedom from pointless activity, and a vision for a better society.
