@catlenihan You did a good thing. We alumni support you and are trying to make something happen. Thank you! Yale is lying out of their ass. I know from personal experience that their WD policy is meant to keep depressives out. And multitudes of other stories confirm this. Help is on the way.
Yale has quietly made some significant changes to its first — and only — public statement on Rachael’s death, which did not originally include a message of grief.

Although I loved attending Yale, before I didn't, I was treated similarly for having to drop out my senior year there for mental illness. There are hordes of us. I think the best way to deal with Yale is to organize at the alumni level by withholding contributions. $$ talks.
