@markorm98 @sheffaction the rent strikes petitions and even the archeology petition were both heavily circulated and so there was more of a mandate for these. I agree that there should be more a democratic campus which is why this direct action frustrates me as it isn’t democratic

@markorm98 @sheffaction previously stated getting rid of these companies wouldn’t solve this issue more would just replace them.I presume as you care so much about these children and claim I don’t you’ve supported getting aid to those countries .As I have but do i still not care ?

But do you honestly think that say if these three companies stop producing these products that other ones won’t crop up in their place?don’t refer to me

@markorm98 @sheffaction to achieve the result you wish,as there isn’t the mandate for it within the student body as shown within the comments. The uni isn’t going to throw away opportunities for those engineering students wanting to work for these companies. My suggestion is to go to a different uni

@markorm98 @sheffaction positive effect on society; creating transport for aid to be taken to countries in need, creating 100s jobs in old mining towns, which ensures that wealth isn’t just concentrated in the south. Charitable contributions, the lists goes on. this action in the diamond isn’t going ..

@wizzair Shocking customer service. Flight cancelled 1 hour before delayed flight take off time, called up finally got through after 2hrs on hold to be hung up on and told I couldn’t have a compensation form. Awful experience especially with a 33 week pregnant passenger
