I'd say the fact that the people that are usually considered those hyper-reliable top performers are burning out too. They usually prop their teams up when times are tough, but now they're depleted too.

@NadineThornhill I usually get it in three when I’m mixing it up and letting inspiration lead me. When I try to be systematic with the starter word & ruling letters out, it usually takes 5. There’s probably a life lesson in there somewhere.
While there are some kids that flourish because of school structure, there are others that do not. Some kids get into great social structures, others do not. Some kids experience positive role modeling, others are exposed to bigotry, racism, and exclusion.

I’m hearing that some children catching covid are apologizing that they weren’t more careful. There are many who made structural & institutional decisions that have left children and their carers making hard choices. I know who I think should be apologizing!
It is wild to live in a culture acting like we are overreacting to Covid when everything within my ability to reason suggests we are dramatically under-reacting.
