Josh's mother caused him serious harm because she had a psychiatric disorder. All of the children I have worked with are like Josh, who is telling his story to help you to understand why children are removed & protected from harmful parents by the family court.
1. Whilst many parents whose children are aligned to them will say that they want their child to have a relationship with the rejected parent, closer scrutiny will often show that a child is in a double bind position.
@TeriGodly Many alienated parents feel a lot of shame and/or cannot go public about their situation due to ongoing court proceedings, fear of backlash from their ex, negative impact on their kids, etc. Don’t assume we are lazy or don’t care. Attacking us isn’t going to win you support.
I’m at a work event and have just spent 2 hours listening to colleagues talk about their kids over dinner. When asked about mine I lie and say he is fine. It’s impossible to explain how painful this is. #ParentalAlienation
This is my third Christmas without my son. I would like to say it gets easier but it doesn’t really. I mourn for all the time we have lost and will never get back.
After another weekend of speculation by the same set of people found by the High Court to be trying to destabilise my work, I will just say this. I’m not frightened of you, I’m not silenced by you and I’m not going to stop exposing the child abuse you are trying to hide.
@jessphillips Are you serious? A child is being moved from one parent who has caused them psychological harm, to another safe parent, and you compare this to forced adoption?
A mother made “an ENTIRELY FALSE ALLEGATION” that the father had a sexual interest in his daughter, causing SIGNIFICANT EMOTIONAL HARM to her child, and you focus on discrediting the expert who, supported by a regulated clinical psychologist, rightly recommended transfer of care?
@LDNVictimsComm@hansummers It is tragic that a mother falsely accuses a father of having a sexual interest in child & instills that view into the child, yet your only concern is the regulation of the expert, who’s own assessment was then validated by other experts.. the child is being harmed by her mother
@AnastasiaParkes Are you serious? He was abducted by his mother, who did not have parental responsibility for him. Parents only lose parental responsibility if they have been found to have caused their children significant harm.
