“Her graduation ceremony was scheduled a month before the war. She had dreams of working with her degree and opening a pharmacy, but then the war came and destroyed everything. Nagham was the greatest loss in my life. She was on one side of the scale, and the whole world on the other”
Nagham Falah Al-Mazini.
My older sister Nagham, no matter what I say, I will never do her justice. She meant everything to me. She was a sister, a mother, and a father. It was as if we were twins, born from the same womb together.
I used to consult her about everything and always follow her advice. She was the keeper of my secrets, and when I was sad, I would go to her and pour out my pain. She would help me and guide me towards the right path.
"I miss you dearly, my beloved."
On March 26th, Nagham and my entire family were martyred. We lost them when the Israeli aggression besieged Al-Shifa Medical Complex. On the ninth day of the siege, the occupying army bombed the house we were living in, along with the displaced families of Al-Ghalayini, Sikkeek (my grandfather's house), and Abu Sha'ban. There were 25 people in the house, and I am the only survivor among them.
Razan Malik Zaarab.
19 years old, beautiful in spirit and heart, very spontaneous, extremely tender-hearted, and had a sweet laugh."
"Her dream was to wear the white coat, which is why she specialized in nursing at Al-Isra University. She was very excited about university, but the occupation stole her dream and stole her.
On the night of April 1st, specifically at 11:47 pm during the 22nd night of Ramadan, the occupation bombed their house. The paramedics rushed Razan and her family to the hospital. Razan suffered burns and had an amputated leg. Later on, she and her entire family were martyred.
I can't imagine that I lost her, and I still can't believe the news of her passing. She left and left behind a great void. She was my soulmate and my twin. May God have mercy on her. Please remember her in your prayers.
As temperatures rise in the Gaza Strip, more than a million displaced individuals find themselves suffering from difficult conditions that exacerbate their suffering.
i wish people would listen to columbia student organizers and center gaza. our escalation is long overdue and we are escalating for palestine & nothing else. please have all eyes on palestine and do not cease coverage of gaza whatsoever.
