So I think it’s safe to say that a lot more healthcare professionals struggle with mental health than we realize.
Today I’m resting on the fact that I’m not alone in this struggle. It’s been a hard few days y’all. Trying to remember things get better.
Out of curiosity, how many of y’all in the medical field (students & working) have struggled with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, PTSD, etc.?
I feel like there are more of us that struggle than we all realize..

@missprisslexy@AshleeNG94 @notsurvivingMD So glad to hear you’ve found therapy and meds to be helpful💓 I’ve been putting it off for years and just hope it’ll make things more manageable. It’s definitely been an adjustment getting used to the meds

@AshleeNG94@missprisslexy @notsurvivingMD Your story sounds very similar to mine💓 I just started meds this week too and am hoping for the same. Thank you for sharing!
MENTAL HEALTH IS INTEGRAL TO PERSONAL HEALTH.
You should not be ashamed for going to a therapist.
You should not be ridiculed for taking medication.
Everyone has a need for love, acceptance, & care. Why blame people for being imperfect?
We ALL are imperfect. We need help.
