@maisy_mcadam @angeblack200 Really important question in this discussion! A LD is still a clinical dx around cognitive ability. Many people have learning difficulties/differences and we don’t know about that but from her use of language and understanding it would be assumed that she would not have LD.

@RoseUnwin @Channel4 It’s a slur. However the some of the worst and yet still acceptable are those slurs that would describe people with LD. And the offensive nature is because of what it describes. God forbid people would hear words that meant people thought they were like one of ‘those’ people.
