در همین فاصله، آن‌سوی جهان، در دلِ آرامش و رفاه، کسانی نشسته‌اند و از بمب اتم حرف می‌زنند؛ انگار نه انگار که اینجا هر انفجار می‌تواند پایان چندین زندگی باشد، چه برسد به بمب اتم!
ما به معنای واقعی کلمه گیر افتاده‌ایم؛ هر روز جان‌های عزیز غیرنظامیان را از دست می‌دهیم، می‌ترسیم، گریه می‌کنیم، گاهی فقط برای دوام آوردن لبخند زورکی می‌زنیم، از صبح تا شب با کانفیگ و انواع وی‌پی‌ان درگیریم و هر لحظه با این سؤال زندگی می‌کنیم که آیا دقیقه‌ بعد، خانه هنوز سر جایش است یا نه.
برای ما، جنگ فقط یک خبر یا تحلیل سیاسی نیست؛ فرو ریختن نفس‌به‌نفسِ زندگی است. جنگ شما، کابوس هر شب ماست.

نه به جنگ، نه به بمب، نه به تصمیم‌هایی که از دور و نزدیک برای جان ما گرفته می‌شود.

It starts today, but nothing is final until the siege over Gaza is lifted, apartheid ends in the West Bank, all our hostages in Israeli prisons are released, the 7 million Palestinians in the diaspora can return home, we are liberated, the occupation falls, and Palestine is freed, from the river to the sea.

Anything short of that is just a pause in the 2 years of genocide, the 77 years of ethnic cleansing, and a century of colonialism.

The Sameer Project will stand with the people of Gaza, today in celebration, tomorrow in rebuilding, and always in solidarity. With all our efforts this pause will turn permanent, the occupation of our people and land will end, we will have lasting freedom.
