This was my interview with Nicola Thorpe. At the time, I genuinely didn’t know who she was. She was attending a @UKIP @NickTenconi rally conducting interviews, and as you can clearly hear in the clip, the very first thing she asked me was why I was there “as a Pakistani immigrant.”

Let that sink in.

In all my time attending events, speaking to people on the right, and engaging in political discussions I have never once been asked, “Why are you here because you’re Pakistani?” Not once.

Yet the side that constantly lectures about tolerance and inclusion led with my ethnicity before even discussing my views.

Throughout the interview, it became clear that the intention wasn’t to understand my perspective but to try and catch me out. The version she uploaded was heavily edited. key parts were cut out, clearly in an attempt to frame me in a certain way and make me appear uninformed or out of place.

She then shared the video with her predominantly left leaning audience across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. And as expected, the response proved my point. Instead of debate, there was hostility. Instead of discussion, there was namecalling. Instead of tolerance, there was hate.

This is what I mean when I talk about lefty tactics. It’s not about open conversation it’s about labelling, attacking, and trying to silence anyone who steps outside their approved narrative.

The irony? These lefty loonies are everything they accuse the right of being. And I will continue exposing that hypocrisy every time I see it.

I’m proud to stand with people who can disagree respectfully and move on without resorting to abuse. You don’t have to agree with me, that’s the beauty of freedom. But if someone’s ethnicity is your opening argument, maybe the intolerance isn’t coming from where you think it is.
