Many things are striking about these lost stations.
It's been said before, but buildings intended very specifically for the public which are designed with care and an interest in beauty help to create a sense of civic pride and identity.

I want American Song Contest to be exactly like Eurovision Song Contest
- each song entered must be new
- state selection teams chose which act will represent them
- the "big 5" states and host state advance no matter what
- there are two rounds (semi-finals) and a final spread out over six days
- 12 points voting system (top choice gets 12 points, second gets 10, third gets 8, etc.) from state juries and televotes from viewers at home
- the winning state hosts the event the following year
