Last Saturday, on the Capital Gang on @CapitalFMUganda, the Hon. Lydia Wanyoto Mutende asserted that the stinging remarks about the disorganized movements of the PLU by among others, yours truly reach the right quarters even though the actors who are also the recipients of this feedback may never come out to acknowledge us who hold the mirror to them! She said it twice!

Following my pointed critique of the PLU on last Friday's Spectrum Extra on @RadioOneFM90 which went viral, and a repeat of the same on the Capital Gang, we have seen them do two things this week

1. Reduce the harebrained talk of electing the Leader of Opposition.
2. Pressuring the IGG to go for the corrupt Parliamentary staff under AAA. They now realize that they had stopped talking about Operation Maliza Ufisadi.

Like any 'dry dry' person, instead of thanking folks like myself, they threaten to vet the guests on political talkshows and go around arresting people. PLU should wait for my invoice.

5/ Cold war days offer many lessons on the damage caused when senior individuals entrusted with national interests place other loyalties above duty.

Not every dual citizen is a risk, but transparency & the law matter. There’s also plenty of competent replacements out there.
