It has now been around 1,100 days since my father, Imran Khan, was imprisoned, and my brother and I haven’t heard his voice since March. For months, we’ve been denied contact with him. We remain in the dark about his access to healthcare as his eyesight continues to deteriorate. He urgently needs medical attention, and with no family or legal access, we don’t even get any second hand information or reassurance.

I’ve found myself especially missing him recently. I want to speak to him about mundane things like my cricket, books I’ve been reading and what new movies are good. I understand the people of Pakistan want their chosen leader free, but I miss my father more than ever.

But this is not just about a father. It is about Pakistan, and its future. A rigged, authoritarian regime continues to crush political opposition, undermine democratic institutions, and deny millions of Pakistanis their right to freely choose their leaders, whilst terrorising those who speak their beliefs.

I once again plea to the international community to not look away. Silence in the face of injustice only enables it.

“The judges in this country should be ashamed of themselves. Time and time again we have gone to the judiciary. But they have sold their souls for their paid personal privileges. They have sold their integrity. They know they cannot break me, so they turn to my wife. How they can allow this inhumane treatment to Bushra BiBi, simply to blackmail me. She spends 24 hours a day in isolation, except for 30 minutes with me per week - and even that is often ignored. It is unislamic to harm women, children and the elderly - and their motives are plain and clear. The judges are responsible for the justice in a society. They should be ashamed of themselves.”

Today during the jail meetings, Imran Khan told his wife Bushra Imran that he is deeply concerned about his eye, as it is not improving.
He said that doctors sent by the government conducted blood tests also but did not share the reports with him. He added that even if the reports were shared, he would not be satisfied unless his own personal doctors, Dr. Fiasal Sultan and Dr Asim, are allowed to examine him and carry out the tests themselves.
Bushra Imran has urged that Imran Khan’s legal team approach the Supreme Court of Pakistan with an urgent petition seeking permission for his personal doctors to examine him asap.

I am a sister, and today my question is directed towards the corridors of power. According to multiple journalists and media sources, our brother, Imran Khan, was taken under the cover of the night to the PIMS Hospital on the pretext of eye treatment. He was kept there for three hours, and then transferred back to Adiala Jail in an atmosphere of extreme mystery and terrifying silence.

If this news is true, it is not merely oppression, it is a blatant crime. Why does no one have the courage to tell the truth to Imran Khan’s family and lawyers? Who is this being hidden from, and on whose orders? What treatment is our brother being subjected to inside the jail, and why are our family and lawyers being kept in the dark?

Imran Khan is not just another prisoner. He is the hope of this nation To endanger his health is nothing less than an attempt to blind the entire country.

This is no longer a request, it is a final warning!

Immediately allow Imran Khan’s family, personal doctors, and lawyers to meet him, make his complete medical reports public, and inform the nation why and in what conditions our brother was taken to the hospital under the cover of the night.

Remember, if even the slightest harm comes to Imran Khan’s eye, this injustice will not be buried in silence. After that, no one else’s eyes will remain safe.

اب تقریباً تین مہینے ہو گئے ہیں
کہ ہمیں ان (بشریٰ عمران) کا کوئی حال احوال تک معلوم نہیں۔
یہ صرف ناانصافی نہیں، یہ ظلم ہے۔
اور اس سے بڑا دکھ یہ ہے
کہ اس ظلم کے خلاف کوئی آواز نہیں اٹھاتا۔

Every Tuesday, six family members and six lawyers are legally entitled to meet him, this is not a privilege, it is his right.

This Tuesday at 1:00 PM, we invite you to join us outside Adiala Jail for Khatam-e-Quran, followed by a collective dua after the Asr prayer. This dua is for the release of Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and all those who continue to be illegally imprisoned.
