The reason why they hate El-Rufai is that he refused to allow himself to be a push over he didn't give them room to dictate to him.
They wanted him to allow them to choose whom to be his deputy in 2015, and he said CAPITAL No. That was the beginning of their problem. Kaduna State CAN want to always feel very important in every administration, but El-Rufai said enough is enough, which they didn't accept.
They gang up in 2019 election to bring him down, but God passed them he repeated them, again and again, that became another battleground.

The Nigerian Federal Ministry of Education through the Federal Scholarship Board calls for application for the 2026/2027 commonwealth Masters/PhD scholarship. Read the requirements well.
Masters: https://t.co/qTKFidhOIC
PhD: https://t.co/nHeVaDZtb2
Deadline: 14th October 2025.
I believe El-Rufa'i understands the dynamics better and has been vocal, and skillfully leveraging that advantage.
Meanwhile, he suggests letting opponents continue their criticism,
as he plays his cards well and will likely continue to do so!
Ladies and Gentlemen. Malam Nasir Ahmed @elrufai is now a movement in Kaduna. This is @elrufai in Zaria this evening. The crowd is massive and overwhelming.

@ReuelNafisu Yes, Plateau could be more preferable. That's fine; through Allah's kindness, 2027 will be a turning point, and Arewa will prosper someday too.

Injustices under this administration won't last. Notably, Lagos has been designated as a state with special status. I wish each zone in the northern region, particularly one state from each zone, like Kano, Nasarawa, and Bauchi could receive similar developments and recognition.

ADC Vanguard to FG: ₦3.6 Trillion for 3rd Mainland Bridge Rehab is a Monument to Corruption
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Vanguard expresses deep outrage at the Tinubu administration’s announcement of a staggering ₦3.6 trillion for the rehabilitation of the 3rd Mainland Bridge. This figure is not only unprecedented in Nigeria’s history but ranks among the most inflated bridge repair costs globally.
For context, the last major repair in 2020 cost ₦6.28 billion. Even accounting for inflation, the current figure represents a mind-boggling 350-fold increase without any technical justification. Internationally, brand-new mega-bridges of similar or greater length have been built for the same or less than what the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, now claims is needed just to “rehabilitate” an existing bridge.
This government has once again demonstrated a complete disregard for transparency, fiscal responsibility, and the welfare of Nigerians. No details of the bidding process, scope of work, or independent technical assessments have been made public. Instead, Nigerians are expected to accept this astronomical sum at face value while schools remain underfunded, hospitals lack basic equipment, and poverty deepens.
We demand an immediate independent forensic audit of this project before a single kobo is disbursed. The Tinubu administration must be reminded that Nigeria is not a personal estate to be looted through padded contracts and political patronage.
Nigerians deserve a government that fixes infrastructure without robbing the public treasury. This ₦3.6 trillion bridge rehab proposal is not just economic recklessness, it is daylight robbery.
A New Nigeria is possible, but only when those in power are held accountable.
Signed

@megaeazy3@channelstv Reforms that cause undue hardship are unlikely to garner public support.
Nigerians are worn out, and we cannot afford another term for APC governance. We are not fools! It's time for change and new direction.✌️
@channelstv Nigerians will shape their future in the next election, driven by the voices of ordinary citizens who've borne the brunt of hardship.
It's time to reject deceit and manipulation, reclaiming democracy for the people.
Stable democracy, not handouts or power plays.✌️
@ShehuSani This investment is a game-changer for Nigeria, offering a sustainable solution to the country's power energy challenges. It's a move that's long overdue and a huge step in the right direction.
Kudos to the efforts!
@KayodeOkikiolu At times, it's hard to distinguish between politicians who truly champion liberalism or conservatism, and those who are primarily motivated by self-serving agendas.
But, Sule Lamido and Jonathan are notable exceptions, I believed they've a clear direction in their pol ideology👌
