The European Parliament's 2025 report on Albania (updated in May and voted today) makes two things very clear:

First, they're calling for the repeal of the 2024 amendments to the Law on Protected Areas. Those changes opened the door for large-scale tourism infrastructure inside protected zones while weakening environmental oversight. @Europarl_EN wants that reversed.

Second, they're demanding that Albania finally build a real track record of investigations, prosecutions and final convictions in high-level corruption cases. They specifically highlight the need for SPAK to continue working independently without any limits on its powers.

This is basically them indirectly calling out cases like the blocking of the arrest of former Deputy PM, @BallukuBelinda (the highest-ranking official after Albania's PM, @ediramaal).

TLDR: EP's report on Albania is clear: real prosecutions and final convictions in high-level corruption cases are needed, not just more laws that nobody enforces. They also noted that Albania dropped further in the Corruption Perceptions Index...

Mert is clearly biased towards his own bags. He has been pushing the "ZEC is quantum proof" narrative for a while and has now switched to "It will be (quantum proof)". Shielded Zcash is NOT quantum proof lol, all KOLs have been and are lying openly.

Full disclosure: my portfolio allocation to Monero is no more than 0.5%. But here are some truth bombs:

Monero is not stuck with just 1-in-15 decoys. The latest updates (currently in beta) will bring full-chain privacy soon; it's only a matter of months before rollout.

Monero, Litecoin, Bitcoin (and any other chain) can also get a quantum upgrade just like Zcash claims it will. Quantum is not a very near threat despite lot of noise, anyway.

Meanwhile Litecoin already has native privacy via MWEB with confidential transactions. It is simple, fairly launched, community-driven, and built for real public utility rather than hype. Privacy can (and does) exist on trusted chains like $LTC without the complicated VC-backed mess, and it can be upgraded further over time.

Zcash is just one in a sea of fancy million scam coins, and all SOL KOLs (and a few SOL VCs) are riding it for now to sell at around $800-1000 while retail gets used as exit liquidity.

ZEC has no real moat besides KOLs and VCs (this has never worked for a privacy protocol) and is highly concentrated. Most people don't give a fuck about privacy, and the ones who actually do will not use ZEC anyway. Litecoin's community actually cares about building usable digital cash for everyone - not just Solana KOL exit liquidity pumps and imaginary "replacing BTC" narratives.

People who actually care about privacy (those in the grey area but also on the dark web) are using real privacy coins like Monero and Litecoin MWEB.
