@BrianLaw1987@Seth_3773 I’ll admit that I hunt for strikes when there’s a kid who just cannot get the ball over the plate. Most of them do. My LL games have time limits and most of them go the full six innings. When they don’t it’s not because of walks. It’s because the kids can’t make plays.
@BrianLaw1987@Seth_3773 That does not change the width of the zone, because you have to account for the diameter of the baseball. Expanding the zone as wide leads to confusion and guessing, especially, with the outside pitch.
@BrianLaw1987@Seth_3773 “chalk to chalk” adds more than 6 inches to each side of the zone, when you include the width of the baseball. That would make the entire zone 27 inches wide. No LL coach wood or should accept that.
