@_Xino___@PrettyBetrayer Ye she's just there to farm dmg/healing. However there are also some top 500 players who use her. There are players better than you who use her
I'd prefer an ok moira to a Lucio who sucks
It does feel like 90% of moira players have never played a game before lol
@zswwg@EL14065507@awkwardOW@PrettyBetrayer If there is a ceiling, nobody has reached it. People act like this 'ceiling' affects anyone who plays the game. Unless you're winning world championships you're nowhere near a ceiling and it's an pointless criticism of the games design
Everyone on twitter is a pro player tho
@Jasonscx2@UGOOOTWEETS Technically speaking lupe and a lot of underground rappers shit on cole
I'd say Cole has had more impressive rhymes schemes than kendrick but that's about it
@EL14065507@awkwardOW@PrettyBetrayer These advantages are at everyone the lobby's disposal. So skill expression can come through synergies/interactions in ways that overwatch doesn't have. Split second call outs and predictive reactions based on shorter cast times. There are not skill ceilings in games
@zswwg@EL14065507@awkwardOW@PrettyBetrayer They could make every hitbox 200% smaller or bigger, it doesn't affect the skill ceiling. Everyone is now at that disadvantage/advantage. There will still be someone with better aim. Someone with better cooldown management. Someone with better gamesense
@EL14065507@awkwardOW@PrettyBetrayer Dude that is just not how games work. If 'everyone is easy to hit' then skill expression comes through in different ways. Positioning, cooldown economy, mechanics, matchups, sound queues, team composition, ability combos, synergies. Aim is still a factor, too
Games can have differing skill floors but they do not have skill ceilings
Halo doesn't have a ceiling. Quake doesn't. Overwatch. Rivals. Street fighter. Tetris. There are not skill ceilings in games
Most Rivals DPS and Tanks are harder than Overwatch by design. But Rivals supports ruin the entire game while Overwatch supports are all but 2 offensive oriented.
Rivals supports are the EASIEST of any game EVER.
In Overwatch There is no patty caking, and if you combine all the "defensive" ults in Overwatch it won't be half as powerful as 1 Rivals ult.
If a kiriko on your team ends the game with low elims and damage, you lose.
But if you do ZERO damage EVER in your entire career of playing Rivals as Rocket, you're Top 500.
The lowest heal Rivals support is 3x the highest healing Overwatch support and everyone plays triple support in Rivals.
Add lucio into Rivals and base all future support designs around that playstyle and intrinsically the entire game will be way more competitive...
@EL14065507@awkwardOW@PrettyBetrayer But this applies to everyone in the lobby. If it's 'easier' for an individual to aim, then everyone in the lobby has that advantage. So it's not an advantage
PVP games don't have skill ceilings. It's not possible. Someone is always better. There are bronzes and there are pros
@Dethyy_@awkwardOW@PrettyBetrayer I see your point, but you're talking about ranking up. And that's just an anecdote
You imply yourself that these people are bad at the game... Therefore they haven't reached a ceiling. People are much better than them
Maybe the rank system is just bad and too rewarding
@awkwardOW@PrettyBetrayer Lower skill ceiling makes no sense in any game ever made. The skill ceiling of a game with so many characters & abilities interacting is going to be extremely high. How can you say one is lower? Based on what?
I don't play rivals but it makes no sense. Is csgo easier, too?
