@JacintaAllanMP is it true you’re about to privatize Births, Deaths & Marriages? If it is true, why?
We must keep that crucial private data safe from commercial interests. It is too valuable. It is too risky.
P,ease don’t privatize this part of government. @VictorianLabor
@moorehn I recently read The Bonsai Child by Dr Judith Locke in Australia. Exactly what you’re writing about Heidi. But Judith is saying there is a crisis in modern parenting according to her research and her clinical work.
@melaniebrockjpn Your nous and cultural vim are world class, obviously. You’re brilliant. Congratulations. It’s very very cool although this is very very serious.
Too many parents of primary aged children didn’t enjoy learning mathematics themselves.
Too often that gets absorbed by their children.
If parents could help it be simply more relevant & relatable the introduction of maths at school might have a better chance.
@percapita@danziffer Why can’t the RBA and the Fed Govt look overseas for more balanced policy options? For example, this artificial interest rate hike should give mortgage holders some benefit such as making banks take the extra contribution off our loan principal. That’s fairer and smarter.
@NickFeik Do you think he’ll run for President in 2024? If he did, with their backing,it might regain the lost Fox audience, and after all, isn’t that the main game?
@Dart47 It’s a poisonous strategy they are deploying. Don’t trust Canberra. Don’t trust government. Don’t trust politicians. Don’t be ambitious. Don’t have policy courage. Don’t trust indigenous Australians to make it work. Truly poisonous.
@hughriminton I went to mass around the time “headquarters” were “keeping an eye on him.” His sermon was mostly off the cuff, daring, funny and honest. I clearly remember him saying “If you’re a Christian, you have to act out your values, not just talk about them.” It was incredibly moving.
@THEMONTHLY@rachelrwithers Donald Horne would be seething if he saw this second rate stuff happening still. Dutton is part of Morrison and Abbotts legacy. Lightweights, all of them.
