The world is a malleable place. If you know what you want, and you go for it with maximum energy and passion, the world will often reconfigure itself around you much more quickly and easily than you would think
Will Smith explains why money can't make you happy
“The first half of my life was gather, gather, gather and the second half of my life is going to be give, give, give”
“Once you've bought everything you want and there's literally nothing on Earth else that you want to buy, I just wish that was a gift that everybody could have because there's nothing that material can do to satisfy you”
“It's like drinking salt water. You'll never get enough. You're just going to make yourself more and more thirsty. You realize that no relationship, no money, no kids, there's literally nothing that can make you happy”
“You got to make happy in here. You got to take happy to the people you love. You can't try to get it from them”
when Michelle said Barack has “stubborn optimism” I realized I also really want that in a partner. Somebody who isn’t moved by life’s shortcomings but ALWAYS sees the light at the end of the tunnel. That’s a true leader, not just of a country but a household. what a legacy.
Whenever I meet engineers out in the wild, I always ask if they ever thought about starting something of their own.
Last night this guy told me that he had no desire to be a startup founder because his dad had been an entrepreneur all his life and he never “made it” he just failed over and over again and they really struggled.
You don’t hear these stories going viral on twitter.
We built an internal AI system called Builderbot. It coordinates agents across our entire codebase. Engineers tag it in Slack, and it researches, plans, and ships. The story so far:
- 200,000 operations per day.
- 1,500 pull requests merged per week.
- 15% of all production code changes across Block.
What used to take months now takes days.

Listen.
Brilliant people don’t want to work for someone who needs to be the expert on everything. They want to work for someone secure enough to hire people better than themselves — and smart enough to listen to them.
When you're figuring out distribution, test every channel available to you.
The community model is one of the most effective approaches for early-stage teams because it's cost-efficient and helps generate your first engaged users.
Anyone telling you community-led distribution is a waste of time doesn't understand distribution even if it's tattooed on their forehead.
Stop taking distribution advice from half-baked growth experts who can't acquire users for their own products.
If you work in fintech and don’t understand these terms, you’re building blind.
Here’s A–Z of fintech terms that actually show up in real systems (not textbook definitions, but how they behave in production).
@mlipu_zii Football is a team sport while Formula one is an individual sport ( of course they have team behind them )
So we follow the Individual in F1/Tennis/Golf while team/club in football/Rugby or rather team sports
Gordon Paul Ogada, then a 30-year-old from Kibera, won Ksh 230,742,881 in the SportPesa jackpot in 2018 after correctly predicting 17 football matches. He became an overnight millionaire, with SportPesa chauffeuring him from Kibera to Carnivore in a limousine as boda boda riders escorted him.
Just six months later, Ogada claimed he was broke 😂, saying he had spent the money on long-term investments, cars, and a house for his parents in Migori County. He told the Nairobian he was ashamed and that Kenyans’ belief that he was still “moneyed” was a misconception. His story of “fall from grace” went viral online.
Four years later, it emerged that Ogada’s “broke” claim was a strategy to escape the limelight. Away from media attention, he sponsored 56 students from disadvantaged backgrounds and sank 14 boreholes in Nyatike to provide clean water. The Migori County Government recognized him for his charity work in 2019. He also built a stately, storey mansion in Migori with a maroon tiled roof and modern glass design, which is now in its final stages.
Ogada’s story shows how he quietly turned jackpot millions into community projects and long-term investments instead of public spending.
