10多年前，当我第一次深入了解比特币原理时，就沉浸在一种想法里：如果它的去中心化、不可篡改、数据由用户掌控的特性能应用到互联网上，我们或许能打造一个健壮的、数据互联互通、真正由个体主导的全球性网络。当时我以为自己是第一个这么想的，后来才发现很多技术先驱早已提出相同看法。

几年后，我发起的@metaidio 协议一直在努力将这个愿景变为现实，如今我们离目标已越来越近。

最近一段时间，我们一直在与@IDChat_io 团队合作开发首个链上“Telegram” App，一个完全运行在比特币上的社交应用，Alpha 版我们已内部测试数周了，在链上产生了数万条消息。我迫不及待想与开发者们分享一些开发心得：
- Web3应用可以实现数据全上链，同时保持Web2的流畅体验；
- Web3不仅限于金融应用，它能成为用户日常生活的工具，并更有潜力触达千万级用户。

另外一个可能反直觉的结论是：比特币的 UTXO 模型可能是更优的Web3载体网络。尽管当前比特币上的Web3应用面临高手续费和扩容难题——这些众所周知——但我们已找到切实可行的解决方案，此事后续再细说。

虽然@IDChat_io 仍处于Alpha阶段，但已将比特币的UTXO特性发挥到极致，还展示了各种UTXO 网络（包括比特币、@dogecoin @mvcglobal 等）作为未来Web3底层的潜力。

它可能是史上隐私保护最强的IM应用（超越所有Web2应用），我相信它有望成为首款非金融类、能获取海量用户的Web3应用。

我们需要结构化地铭刻数据

对比最近各个 Perp Dex 的火热，比特币生态这几个月非常冷清。
不管是 BRC20 、Runes还是其他的数量高达数十种的比特币资产协议，其实都有两个致命问题，这两个问题不解决，我看是难以重新热起来的。

1. 没有类似 ERC20 的官方的统一的资产协议
2. 不能真正地大规模用起来

第一个问题暂时是无解的，比特币上的开放特性导致资产协议只会更多。除非更新 OP_CAT时，强推一个资产协议（概率比较低），这个问题先跳过。

第二个问题，这不只是比特币资产的问题，但比特币上由于缺少智能合约、缺少统一资产协议而更加突出。

如何能有效用起来？即便增加 OP_CAT，也只能引入各种粗糙的DeFi应用，然后走 ETH生态的老路？或许是一个途径。

但比特币本身具备很多 EVM 模型没有的优势，发挥出这些独特优势或许能走出一条比 ETH老路更好的道路。

比如，比特币的数据和交易是原子性的，这和 EVM 保存数据需要保存在其他异构链或链下保存相比，是其中一个巨大优势。

既然我们可以将资产、图片铭刻在比特币交易里，为什么不能将应用的数据结构铭刻在交易里？有了数据结构就有可能构建一切应用（程序 = 数据结构 + 算法）。

早期的图灵机就是一条铭刻了很多数据结构的纸带，通过读写（算法）就可以进行一切计算。这种原子性的将数据铭刻在纸带（区块-链条）是比特币 UTXO 模型的独特优势，有了结构化的数据，我们本质上可以构建一切链上应用。

这观点当然不是我首创，@gavinandresen 早在 2011 年就说过类似意思：“Bitcoin is a platform for innovation. It’s not just about moving money; it’s about creating a decentralized infrastructure that can support all kinds of applications.”

有了应用，比特币上的近亿个铭文，也就可以和链上应用天然结合起来，有机会成为“有用”的资产。例如， RATS 为什么不能成RATS社区的准入凭证？ORDI 也许能成为比特币应用的最受欢迎红包资产？也许以后观看一篇比特币上的付费文章，需要支出若干个SATS 呢？

比特币资产因铭刻数据而生，其最终的活力也必然来自于对数据的升级利用。从铭刻随意的内容，转向‘结构化地铭刻数据’，可能是激活亿万比特币原生资产，让它们真正‘有用’起来的关键一步。
