I love #InternationalWomensDay, but it always ends up feeling like a strange and paradoxical day to me. It’s like the applause & recognition that women receive today is so loud on this one day that it makes it even more apparent how quiet it is for women’s rights most other days.

And, as we focus on things like representation, equal pay, etc. that are incredibly important, I cannot help but to then think of other things that women & girls face every single day where the cost of lauding incremental progress is simply too high.
