A Pewbeam customer in the US reached out last Friday morning wanting to cancel their yearly plan.
It was sad to read their email, but the beautiful thing was that they carefully explained why: we lacked some features they needed for their setup. I didn’t let my CS team handle this; I reached out and promised that three of their feature requests (that we agree with) would be shipped this weekend.
We stayed awake until 3 a.m. this morning to ship those three features, and this customer is happy with their plan again and has changed their mind about canceling.
We do customer support differently. Even though it is difficult, we ensure we attend to our customers’ specific needs because they have an audience to serve and we have a responsibility to help them do it.
These, among many, are some of the lessons I am learning about building a startup.
@Toke_Eji@tosinolaseinde lol see how shameful what you did was? Don’t be too quick to speak I’m sure one would see more if they check through your profile.
People think the gospel of Jesus Christ is too good to be true, and to be honest I understand why they say that..
What do you mean I'll have peace if I accept a Jew who was crisified 1997 years ago?
What do you mean, my soul will live forever in heaven if I give my life to a man I cannot see?
What do mean, people who were down with cancer and other terrible disease called on a Jew who existed long ago, and they received healing?
To be honest, looking at this with a secular mind will make you overturn the gospel and view Christians as 'mentally ill', cause it doesn't even make sense.
But the moment you actually devote to it, you'll understand that it is too good and it is true!
There are many questions regarding the gospel, and I fully understand it. But I've once asked those questions, and I've experienced it firsthand, and all I can say is..
The Bible is 100% true, and if you devote your life to God, you'll find purpose and freedom. This is not a joke.
Tomorrow, we set our hearts to baptize THREE THOUSAND disciples who will make public declarations of faith in Christ.
We won’t stop UNTIL ALL HAVE HEARD.
Pray for us.

So Lagos State University (Lasu) refused to graduate over 100 students because a nonchalant lecturer forgot to upload their results since 300 level
When they complained, the HOD told them to trust the process.
Now they are having extra year not becaue they failed, but because a lecturer failed to do his job and the school is looking to make extra money from tuition.
The students are heartbroken
If the world is against the truth, then I am against the world. Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord! I’d rather be cancelled by society than rejected by Christ
While you're discussing Okocha, Ronaldo and Messi, this is to kindly inform you that in their document called "Standards for Sexuality Education in Europe", the World Health Organization provides the following instructions for kindergartens and elementary schools:
✔︎ Children between 0 and 4 years must learn about masturbation and develop an interest in their own and others' bodies.
✔︎ Children between 4 and 6 years must learn about masturbation and be encouraged to express their sexual needs and wishes.
✔︎ Children between 6 and 9 years must learn about sexual intercourse, online pornography, having a secret love and self-stimulation.
✔︎ Children between 9 and 12 years should have their first sexual experience and learn to use online pornography
The WHO instructs teachers worldwide to educate 9-year-old children about having sexual intercourse for the first time, how to experience sex using the internet and mobile phones, and learning different sexual techniques.
Myself and some friends at the Center for African Policy Research and Advisory @cafpraintl yesterday were invited by a coalition of media houses in Nigeria to address this issue. Christianity will enter every single home in the middle East, not by force, but with love.
They're busy trying to conquer the west, local evangelists are calmly rebuilding their ruins. The middle East will one day reunited under the only true name, JESUS CHRIST! ☝️
I remember a bank CEO who is now my egbon and mentor telling me on the first day we met, "Yomi, call me <inserts first name>. A proper African man setting me up. I responded with "Egbon, won ko mi be"... He laughed, and we've been super chilled since then.
Read the room. Discern. Even in oyinbo land... read the room. Here's Dr Maya Angelou setting the record straight. Sometimes it's not just about age...
It's a different thing if the company policy explicitly says "first-name basis"
