I turn dads' "I'll be more patient next time" into reality. Retrain your reactions with a martial arts combo: Catch. Question. Release. Try it free for 90-min
Tuning my guitar taught me a valuable insight about fatherhood: balance.
Too loose, it’s out of tune.
Too much, the string breaks.
In reality, we’ll get rid of the broken string and replace it with a new one.
But too many dads are tone deaf because their buttons are constantly being tested.
The sign is clear—if everyone is walking on eggshells around you, it’s not because “this is who I am” or “that’s how I was raised.”

Adding humor to my parenting makes it fun and memorable without sounding bossy.
But the real reason behind it is that I want my daughter to be able to defend herself.
Her safety is every girl dad's priority.

Going against the status quo and best practices must have taken a lot of courage. Kudos to you.
As a fatherhood trainer, I see every time I get triggered as something to dig deeper to understand what the heck is underneath it so I can release it.
I figured that’s the way to break generational cycles.
Kids are the biggest blessing, but they're treated like debt and bad karma.
"They cry all the time!"
"They won't shut up!"
"They don't listen!"
Until one day there's no more crying, and every question you ask gets an "Ok."
And "You don't tell me anything" becomes the biggest conflict.
@dustinthedad Telling lame work stories still beats watching your own mom/dad sit around the house, leave piles of unwashed dishes, and boss everyone around.
“Imagine if no one does (x)?” Is a good opening line to share your impact at work.
Everyone talks about overcoming fear, but how many have actually done it?
Do you know where your fear really comes from?
Just ask: “where do you come from?”
