Something about spending the first day of #pride at a UMC clergy session where the bishop insinuated that queer clergy and disaffiliating clergy did the same amount of harm to each other did a lot of damage to my heart.
@revfemme Iβm from NJ/NY/Boston, so not entirely. but after having lived in Wisconsin and Iowa for a decade, Iβm sure theyβre delicious and they already give me the warm fuzzies.
@umjeremy@Mississippi_UMC If Bishop Lewis has demonstrated anything during her episcopacy, it's a blatant disregard for due process as laid out in the Book of Discipline.

Iβm so tired.
My school district has had 7 snow days this year, plus a few late starts. Itβs been an icy winter. I get it.
And now they cancelled Tuesday because our girls basketball team qualified for state. (Congrats!)
But the burden on families is exhausting.
How many families have enough time off for so many unexpected days off? More to the point, how many families canβt afford this much time off? Iβll tell you: itβs not a small number.
Grade A face painters and dancers!
Thank you Decorah Schools and Carrie Lee Elementary for allowing our players to be part of the Elementary Family Dance Party! Love being a part of the Valley community!
