Meet Dr. Noemi Pinilla-Alonso, an associate scientist at @UCF's Florida Space Institute. She was selected to study our solar system using @NASA's groundbreaking James Webb Space Telescope and was presented with @OrangeCoFL's Distinguished Resident Award for her inspiring work.
The Callisto Solar Radio Spectrometer that was recently installed at AO was monitoring the Sun when it captured the solar flare that was followed by a fast and wide coronal mass ejection on October 28, 2021.
