Both yesterday and today at Polyglot Gathering in Teresin I'm attending lectures/discussions on Chatgpt use in language learning. Definitely will try to incorporate it for lessons on vocabulary/pronunciation and probably more. #chatgptlang
"4:15 Appointment", by @rafeeeeta, from the very first edition of Omenana Magazine is one story that you should read and share.
Prime example of what African writers get up to when they delve into horror.

I'm in Athens for the next week and plan to use the time for Pride and WordPress activities. I'd be happy to meet. Otherwise, I would love to buy books/zines/music/films (Eng only) by queer Greeks. Or speculative fiction by Greek authors. Any recommendation where to buy it?
Still not exactly chatgpt but Canva #AI can create a presentation in German on a specific topic. Yes, ofc it's an outline etc. It doesn't work well if you need a specific language level (tried German and A1) but who knows, maybe it'll help with learning. Need to check grammar.
Not exactly #chatgptlang but I had skipped some days. So let's say with this PPT on coffee in German (for exam) I'm even. So yeah, a A1+ PPT with key points like drinks (Getrรคnke), places (Ort), and my favourite coffees (meine Lieblingskaffees). #langtwt#studytwt#German
I definitely more often need to create presentations for language learning. It's a great tool to learn writing on computer (different keyboard layouts) which is essential at work. You learn words and phrases in context. You can practice grammar and speaking (recording) too.
"Possessed" by the spirit of travel, Adam Shafi's determined protagonist overcomes all odds to gain passage on a ship. Don't miss this remarkable Tanzanian fiction translated from the Swahili by N.S. Koenings. https://t.co/kkduMqIzr1

Today I plan to listen again to the videos, and write down the things she says in German, not only the focus on the words. She uses things like "first of all" first in German, then in English.
#chatgptlang day 4 and 6 #learnGerman I've learned more about modal verbs and I've started the A1 videos for Learn German with Anja on YouTube. I rarely have possibility to speak in German outside 1x per week in classroom, so "answering her" is quite nice. https://t.co/D2pDjsyk0u
#chatgplang day 3 #learnJapanese
I had a study group with friends to use Lingq to read in Japanese. First, microstory which had some n3 kanji/words (closer to my level), then greetings and basic dialogues (closer to their level). And we also talked a bit in Japanese.
@RayMosher5@fuckyouiquit The salaried employee in Poland should work 40h (let's forget edge cases), paid for overtime/take off hours to balance it off, vacations are not wage-deducted, unlimited sick leave* (some rules apply) with 80% of wage. It's so strange reading about US.
