#korean slang 맵찔이 is a combination of 맵다 and 찌질이(loser), which means ‘a person who can’t eat spicy food’. 💁🏻‍♀️

난 맵찔이어서 이거 못 먹어. 🥵🥛
I usually can’t eat spicy food so I can’t try this.

I just finished reading Pachinko!! I enjoyed every bit of it, it's really fun to be following the journey of a four-generation Korean family who lives in Japan during and after Japanese colonization era. The story did not only teach me history but also Korean-Japanese culture😀
