@JPR_25 From my experience, getting coaches to attend. Being in love with the long term development process is hard and challenging for a variety or reasons. Mostly schedules. Ego. Money.
Cultivate unique qualities with self belief and internal motivation.
This is a nice story from the bottom to the top.
The stunning rise of Inter's Denzel Dumfries to Champions League final. https://t.co/zNTPipv8pm
Trust the process like Scott McTominay.
Seems like a no brainer and good reminder. Players mature at different rates. Keep players in the game for the long hall.
Follow @Paulmcg8 He is always coming in clutch with sensible nuanced knowledge.
@kieronbutton17 👍🏻 exploring and playing as much as possible is The Way for players to experiment. Static stretching and dynamics can be introduced. Sure. BM, 1v1s, Races, tag and mini games requiring movement with the ball involved will energize and invigorate players most.
@AngrySoccerGuy When soccer becoming part of our daily cultural fabric, we will see more consistency at the top.
For relevant coach education, look to @CoerverCoaching youth diploma 1 & 2 for guidance about individual and small group play.
@JoelCressman I admire your thoughts and agree here. Look into @CoerverCoaching methodology as a solution. Ball mastery and 1v1’s are encouraged with conditioned and free play group games that encourage free thinking and creative decision making to support effective team players.
We’ve embedded small sided games like this within our training programs at @CoerverOhio since the beginning. The not-so-secret, secret is that players improve when they are encouraged to make more decisions with more time on the ball.
Things that are recognized get repeated.
When you begin to see red cars driving on the highway, suddenly you start to see them everywhere.
Praise a player for performing action X, they will most likely recognize X again and repeat.
A timely reminder is coaching.
