@StatBoySports @JChis27 Does the trade make them favorites in the East as it did in 2018? No. But they absolutely got better. Not to beat a dead horse, but they went 7 games with the Cavs without BI, Dick or Kawhi. Everyone that watches ball would agree adding Kawhi to THAT team changes things.

@StatBoySports @JChis27 But the Raptors DID get better. Don't over-analyze it. It was an expiring BI, who no-showed in the playoffs, coming off surgery, for Kawhi who just had his best aeason in years. Young core fully in tact and 5 of their next 7 1st rounders still in hand. Great trade.

It's basically Kawhi for BI, which is a massive upgrade. The Raps have half a decade to get back 2031 33 draft picks if needed.

Raps basically upgraded from BI to Kawhi, lept all their best young core and kept 5 of their next 7 picks. Kept All of their next 4 1sts.
