It’s here. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s ours. It’s an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20. I remember making tracklist after tracklist, obsessing over the right way to tell the story. I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now. Therefore, you have 6 From The Vault tracks! I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and the memories it brought back filled me with nostalgia and appreciation. For life, for you, for the fact that I get to reclaim my work. Thank you a million times, for the memories that break our fall. 💥🐉🏰 Speak Now (MY VERSION!) is out now.

As someone who reads a lot of fantasy books, I could really care less about the maps… like they are pretty, but I’m just trusting that the author is telling me all the important stuff
say what you will about stephenie meyer’s writing, but I’ve never seen a portrayal of depression as accurate as those blank pages with nothing but the names of the months on them
I hope you have at least one person who breathes life into you. I hope you find the time to pursue all your weird passions, stay up late reading for no reason whatsoever, drink deep of the joy of things. I hope you stay fascinated and unafraid.
@lindsayncurrie Thank you so much! We read What Lives in Woods for our very first First Chapter Friday and the kids loved it! I had a long list of students that were fighting over who got to read it first!
Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight.
