@kelunik You are right, the language isn't slow. PHP7 improved a lot the performance and depends on how do you develop your software could be slower. I got this phrase as a way to push ReactPHP. Anyway, as the speaker asked; Is it slow comper to? I hope I don't create misunderstandings
