@noshownithya I was at the forum. This photo was taken before CM Raman arrived. She’s not even in the photo. Over 200 people in South LA listened to CM Raman in 100 degree weather.
@arey4supervisor The margins are too small & the restrictions on public dollars strict. Organizations are required to “true up” every month & subject to rigorous audits. You can argue for improved transparency but if you don’t understand this, you should learn more before commenting on the system
@arey4supervisor 1/2 Homeless service organizations working in the current crisis cannot pay their staff, deliver services or help house people without support up front. Without this, the system would collapse and a greater number of people would be without service and shelter.
@CNNPR@DanaBashCNN@DCMagazineML You are a primary why CNN is a total and complete joke. How disgusting to minimize mass casualties and only to propagate a lie. You’re gross…

@barbarismcrit@SenGillibrand this is so bizarre, disingenuous and inconsistent. If he wants to kill all Jewish people, why on earth would you “partner” with him? Your Islamophobia is gross and so are you
@ShaykhSulaiman She was directing her comments towards me (I was safety marshaling and in the front) and three women next to me. We did not engage and we ignored her but it’s crazy to see the recording.
A billionaire in L.A. is trying to build an aerial gondola over one of the poorest neighborhoods in the city so he can develop the parking lots at Dodger Stadium into a retail entertainment complex. Not only will one our most historic parks get consumed by the project, but research shows it won’t even reduce traffic or greenhouse gas emissions as it was initially sold to the public.
It's a $500 million project that has been pitched as privately funded, but still has no funding plan and will end up costing the taxpayers their money and the residents of Chinatown their privacy.
My newest short documentary film explains it all.
Now: A Zoom phonebank for Rep. Adam Schiff's Senate campaign was just bombarded with disruptors calling for Schiff to call for a ceasefire in Gaza as Schiff spoke.
Schiff ignored the disruption and the chat was disabled:
Two weeks ago, I visited the occupied territories of Palestine, to meet our teams. I visited Jenin, Nablus and Ramallah; unfortunately, it was impossible for me to enter Gaza but I spoke to my colleagues there. I want to share some of my observations from that trip 👇
The Israeli occupation destroys the central archive of #Gaza municipality, executing thousands of historical documents, and deliberately razing all life forms; erasing the city and its #history. It is worth noting that the archive holds #documents more than a hundred years old.
