@realpeteyb123 When people are so hooked on the opioid that is free stuff, there is zero chance of “fixing the system” or “changing it from the inside.” Think about all the welfare and brainwashing from birth on and you will come to the realization that this is not going to be fixed by votes.
@cboyack If the government gave me a special break in taxes for homeschooling, they would assume that that means they have a say in what or how I homeschool and I’m all set with that. It’s a rock and a hard place, but I’d rather have them out of my business in this case.
@JeremyUnplugged@IanCarrollShow Maybe the fact that it’s even close, but one is supposedly an imminent threat and one is supposedly our greatest ally, is telling enough?
@nerdgirltori@MMarhold53817 @MilaLovesJoe It’s not unfathomable to think that something can cause something without being the sole cause. We can get cancer from smoking, but smoking didn’t “invent” cancer. Your line of reasoning doesn’t make sense.
@AlSultan_Meriam@libsoftiktok@UnivOfKansas Free speech protects you from the government silencing you, it doesn’t protect you from losing your job if it goes against their code of conduct. Clearly this school is ok with it, but it’s not a free speech issue.
@jarvis_best I like the part where they compare 1916 US military to 2025 US military. I am not a supporter of our money choices, just to clarify, but that’s beyond laughable.
@NickAdamsinUSA I support eliminating property taxes for everyone who owns their home. You can’t “own” something if it can be taken away from not continuing to pay for it.
@therabbithole Saying they haven’t been successful in dealing with the problem implies they’ve actually cared to try. They’ve been successful at what they do, that’s why the debt is what it is.
