Days after Bahrain received international media backlash for arresting Bahraini Shia muslims (on grounds of no evidence) its interior minister is now trying to embolden the narrative that only those who worked for Iran were arrested, not just because they are Bahraini shiites (which is absolutely nonsense).
Many of those who were arrested didnโt even protest or said anything publicly.
Meanwhile house raids and arrests continue in Bahrain, with dozens of shiite scholars, clerics being attested accused of โworking with Iranโ (absolute nonsense).
โI know that I will be arrested because of this video, but imprisonment with dignity is better than a life in humiliation.โ
Words said by Mulla Ali Al-Jardabi before being arrested for delivering criticism of the King of Bahrain, following the arrest of his fellow Shia scholars on purely sectarian grounds.
