one detail about $VAR that barely anyone talks about
roughly 4% of $HYPE supply went unclaimed and was moved to future emissions & community rewards
Variational is doing things differently.
> ALL unclaimed $VAR will be burned
if we see similar numbers, that’s another ~5% of the entire supply gone forever
pretty big deal imo
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 President Donald Trump again promises to give every US adult citizen a $5,000 dividend if Republicans win the midterm elections.
This would cost around $1.2 trillion, making it one of the largest economic stimulus packages in the United States since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Variational did more than 1/3 of Hyperliquid's volume
That's insane !
If $VAR is at 30% of $HYPE FDV, that would mean 750$/point
(Use OMNIJOESTAR if you're not using it yet)
I know that sounds crazy, but Hyperliquid is the best venue for crypto perps, while Variational is the best venue for RWA perps and Swaps
Now if you had to bet right now, would you bet on crypto perps or RWA perps growth?
Be delusionally bullish
😁Yesterday closed one more good trade on @arcus_xyz
🤣I'm just lucky
🫠Scared to open next trade..

Point on @variational_io costs ~$14 now by my calculations
in spring it was ~$4,40. feb to may it barely moved, $3,44 to $4,94 for 7 periods straight.
in june it jumped to $13,44 and since then it hasn't dropped below $6,93.
last 5 periods avg $10.82.
more people came in and they’re splitting the same points among themselves.
after the announcement of a 32% airdrop and full unlock at TGE a lot of new people showed up, it'll be shown in the next period.
but most of them will leave in a week or two.
they trade whatever pumps, pay spread without counting and have no idea what a point costs them.
people who've been farming since december count this every week:
> what they traded
> how much spread they paid
> how many points they got
> they switch assets depending on where it's cheaper and they're farming until TGE
access code: OMNIALEKZZ
start farming: https://t.co/M2YF0j86ka
nobody's going to hold your hand and tell you which assets to trade or which ones give the most points.
nobody knows. that info just isn't public.
the only way to get 3-4x upside before $VAR launch is to just start.
start trading commodities, single stocks, make a spreadsheet to track your costs.
what you definitely shouldn't trade is the most liquid crypto pairs and swaps, unless you're farming funding.
otherwise you're getting rekt.
but if you want 10 points per $1M in volume, go ahead. i won't stop you.
I started on July 30. nobody helped me. just traded daily and tried to keep my costa as low as I could.
174 points worth ~$6,000 as a result.
final choice is yours. gVar.
😉 @arcus_xyz Points might be coming soon
🆕New api link recorded in public Certificate Transparency (CT) under https://t.co/UKyzWbHGIM
🔗 https://t.co/i3yKcmAgPi
🧑💻This is new points API
⚠️I tried finding this API in arcus public API portal, but not live yet
👀Soon it may be added
👇Interesting facts
✅Endpoint description says "weekly points history"
🗓️So points might be distributed weekly just like other perps
✅ "Active season" so multiple seasons possible
✅"tier names" so there could be a tier system based on LB rank
🤔I think they may drop initial points based on existing interactions
😉Just like Variational did
👀So they were teasing something coming next week.. Is that...?
🫵Wt do u think coming next week? Let me know
Still haven't joined?

Hyperliquid is Taking a Different Approach to Surviving the Crypto Bear Market
Instead of relying on hype or inflationary incentives, it is building a “burn & earn” model where platform activity directly supports $HYPE.
Trading fees flow into the Assistance Fund, which uses them to buy $HYPE from the market and remove it from supply, while staking gives holders additional utility through network security and trading-fee benefits.
That creates a simple but powerful loop:
More trading activity → more revenue → more HYPE buybacks → stronger value accrual.
I think this matters because @HyperliquidX is effectively making HYPE’s tokenomics dependent on the growth of the platform, rather than simply depending on a bull market to create demand.
Burns alone don't guarantee deflation, since emissions and unlocks can still add supply. But if Hyperliquid continues capturing perp, spot and new market activity, growing protocol revenue can increasingly offset that dilution.
That makes HYPE interesting beyond the usual exchange-token narrative.
Hyperliquid is turning its trading business into a mechanism for token value accrual.
If this flywheel continues working through a bear market, “real revenue → buyback → supply reduction” could become a much stronger DeFi tokenomic model for the next cycle.
📊 HYPE ETF Netflow
HYPE ETFs recorded +$356.56K in total net inflows as of Sep 11, led by:
🔸 BHYP (@Bitwise ): +331.89K
🔸 HYPG (@Grayscale ): +82.43K
🔸 THYP (@21shares ): -55.77K
A positive net flow overall, with Bitwise accounting for the majority of inflows. 🔥
Today, an interview between @choffstein and @variational_lvs went live covering Variational's broker-like design, the launch of swaps, and what's being built next.
