As we remember, it was 2 years ago that the fire devastated Lahaina—destroying homes, businesses, and lives. But out of the ashes, hope is rising.
Harvest was on the ground within weeks—bringing food, water, diapers, and most importantly, the Gospel. We held prayer stations, gave out 1,500+ Bibles, and saw over 200 make professions of faith.
We partnered with Sacred Heart Chapel to provide 50 laptops, backpacks, and temporary classrooms for students who lost everything. We also supported local first responders and held community events: skate outreaches, BBQs, movie nights, and more.
At our Hope for Lahaina night, nearly 100 people accepted Christ. Our Christmas outreach drew over 2,000 people.
In this video, filmed on Maui in the aftermath of the fires, I share a passage from Scripture that helps us understand why God sometimes allows hardship in our lives.
God is rebuilding Lahaina—and He’s using His Church to do it. Keep praying. Keep showing up. Jesus is the hope this island needs. 🌺🙏 #HopeForLahaina #HarvestMaui #GregLaurie

@Apurvasrani Every project you’ve been a part of carries such depth, compassion, and honesty. These stories don’t just entertain — they stay with us, challenge us, and heal us in ways words can’t fully describe. Thank you for choosing truth, and for making cinema that matters.
